On November 13, 2016, at the Enrico Toti school in the Pigneto district, Kreyon met with the City of Rome for the Co’Roma project as part of the collaborative journey to decide on the future project of the New Aquila Cinema. Is it possible to create a collaborative project for the recovery of a neighborhood space? How can the citizen and the city communicate to understand what will be the future of the New Eagle Cinema in Rome? Kreyon collaborates with the Department of Cultural Growth and Co’Roma, realizing a web lab that answers these questions. Co’Roma — Pigneto is a journey of collaborative discussions that will enable you to identify, within a programmed time, the indispensable elements for the future cultural project of the New Aquila Cinema in Rome. This path will allow each individual citizen, operator and group of people (formally or informally) to organize their best wishes and needs, discussing them with others and with the Capitoline Administration to combine energies, intentions and ambitions action. The path will lead to the creation of a Participation Document containing the guidelines to which the New Aquatic Cinema Project must respond. A new path within the city, designed to allow collective intelligence to express itself at its best, based on decades of collaborative experiences gained worldwide and in very different places (from Athens to Boston, Naples to Milan, Iceland to the Middle East). There is a need to look for new responses to rooted problems and to do this need different ways: Einstein said that one can not think of solving problems using the same way of thinking (and doing) that has generated them. Co’Roma — Pigneto wants to be a starting point.
